Every Wednesday Evening – Chapter Pietenpol Build Session
All Chapter 25 members are invited to come and work on the Ch. 25 Pietenpol Building Project. Learn the art and craft of building a homebuilt airplane from Ch. 25 members who have hours of experience building airplanes. We are working at Dale Johnson’s shop. Contact Kim V. Johnson, Ch. 25 President, if you would like directions.
Saturday, March 16, 2013 – Young Eagle event with a Chili Feed following. Bring a your spouse or a friend and a pot of your favorite chili. Contact Bill Brown, Young Eagles Coordinator to volunteer to help with the Young Eagles. Ground crew are always needed. Bill will put you to work as a pilot’s assistant or as a teacher of aviation principles to kids.

Paul D. Randall, Pipistrel USA will show us the Pipistrel line of aircraft. The Pipistrel Sinus and Virus were the world’s first Ultralight Certified composite two-seater motorgliders. Made from the same JAR 22 long life composite materials as used in certified gliders these aircraft are economical to buy and own and simple to fly and maintain. Over 350 are now flying the skies around the world. The clean design, low drag and superb construction make these designs some of the most economical aircraft ever made.

The banquet will be held at the Ramada Mall of America, 2300 American Blvd in Bloomington, just north of the Mall of America. Social hour at 4:45pm, banquet seating at 6:15pm.
